Amelia Milling, 21, is giving thanks to a Husky named Nanook who is a guide dog that is owned by Scott Swift. Milling was hiking in the Eagle River Valley when she fell into the Eagle River when Nanook managed to grab her as her backpack as she struggled to stay afloat in the river. Nanook and Amelia then managed to get to shore safe and sound. Emilia was able to push an emergency button that Nanook had on him so the Alaska State Police could locate both parties. After Amelia was rescued by the husky, she thanked Scott as well as the state police for being there to save her from physical harm. Amelia calls Nanook her Guardian Angel and she will forever remember him.

Hi George. The owner did a great job training and teaching his dog. He saved a life. Glad that Amelia is safe from harm.

You are correct. One hand washes the other and two hands wash the face.

Great story. I am glad everyone ended up safe and sound. I often think that people should be very careful when doing these sorts of activities as it can be so dangerous.

Wow what a nice story. Dogs are really amazing they can sense if something is wrong. I have this aunt who is not aware that she has cancer they just connect everything that her dogs bestfriend is like giving her the signal that she has cancer. Cause everytime she will visit her bestfriends house the dog will alwayd smell his tummy and will back on it and the dog tries to scratch her tummy.
