Are you a listener or much of a talker?

I think I am both. I listen very carefully if the person I am talking to is sad or in the state of anger. But most of the time I am much of a talker, only to the place where I'm comfortable with, just like in the center. Or if I'm with my close friends. I tend to listen carefully to people who express happiness, sadness, and despair. Because these people need someone to understand them when it comes to their feelings. They need someone to listen to and not just to listen but also to understand them. What are you, are you a listener or much of a talker?

@JustBhem You can say I am both.I listen to others patiently,but keep eagerly looking for an opportunitype to speak.This happens when the person I'm talking to goes on talking non stop without thinking that I ,too,might have something to say.

I think it will depend on the situation if someone we are with needs someone to talk to or to listen to his/her problem.

I am a good listner, unless I don't listen I can't understand what the person speaking wants from me or having opinion about anything! Then I speak! Listening helps us in gaining the knowledge and information! Thanks!

It works for me during the time I was working as a Customer Service Representative, I listen first to their problem and yes, it helps a lot to be a listener.

I am definitely a listener and find it really tiring if I have to carry a conversation. If you get two 'listeners' there is no-one to talk to.

It's easier to talk compare to really listening. We say we're "listening" but are actually more concern about how we are going to respond.

I'm a listener. Most of the people are talkers, and I don't feel the need to be one as well. Therefore, I become the listener.

I am both. I like to talk, but I am also a good listener. When my friends have problems they ask me if I have time to talk and I listen to them and try to help. I like listening to people's stories and experiences. I can be very talkative and I like to talk about many different topics. Some people say I talk a little too much sometimes
