Power, But Not Powerball, Lucky Day and MyLot

So, last night a very major storm rolled through town with 80 mile per hour winds, tornadoes, and other fun stuff. We never had a tornado actually touch down, but we did lose power. Today was around 106 degree heat index. Great to not be able to run the AC. Power went out around 6 pm yesterday and did not come back on until about 6 pm tonight. Just hearing the AC running makes me want to do a happy dance. In fact, I may have done just that, but I am not sharing. As for the Lucky Day it topped out at $2,000,000 and someone won it in Willowbrook Illinois about 52 minutes from Chicago. So, long and short is I did not have the winning ticket. As for MyLot I am TERRIBLY behind, but will get to work as soon as I can to catch up. How was your day going?

Except for the storm, your heat index is much like it is here. I'm sorry you were without power. I know that wasn't fun in this heat with no A/C.

Having a heat wave here in NJ with temps in the 90's. Lost power for about 3 hours earlier. No tornadoes in our neck of the woods thank goodness. 80 mph winds can be pretty scary too.

Eek, thats a long time to be without power and no A/C would be even worse. So glad you have it back but so sad you didn't win the lotto, maybe next time huh.

Hello Jim. Am glad to know you are fine over there. And the power interruption was too long. I cant even endure that long hours of no electricity. I just woke up and need to work my butt off.
