something I've been wondering about mylot

i am wondering about how long does it take for mylot to calculate your earnings for how much each individual post? also, is there a limit to how much i can post each day and earn from each post as long as each post is going along with the the mylot rules/codes and guidlines? (example: if i were to post 100 posts in a day, would i be accredited and recieve approximatly a dollar and the money be registered into my earnings summary? etc.)

I do not think there is a limit to the amount discussions you can post in a day. However, if you keep posting one after another you are less likely to get interaction on many of them. People are not fans of those that post back to back to back. This can be deemed spammy, especially if each discussion is only a few lines long, and also clutters up the discussion lists as it will push others' posts down in the list... You should spread the discussions out throughout the day. More discussions doesn't necessarily mean you will earn more, as earnings depend on interaction of others on what you post. You can post a lot of discussions but get hardly any responses and in that case earnings will be very low. So posting a huge amount of discussions won't necessarily guarantee much higher earnings. As far as how much you can earn... you can potentially earn $1 with a few posts, maybe even with one. But that may not be the case. So posting many discussions won't guarantee you will make that dollar. Your mylot bank is updated every hour usually from what I heard.

@Sojourn Glad to be of help. And as some others have mentioned here, you do not earn for posting discussions or responses/comments. Rather, you earn from the interaction of others on what you post.

Earnings are normally updated hourly. How much you earn 'per post' depends entirely on how much interaction (responses, comments, &c) it receives. One discussion with 100 responses, comments &c will earn far more than 100 'discussions' with little or no interaction. The amount 'per interaction' may vary from day to day, depending on a number of factors, but it is certainly far less than 1 cent per interaction, as you seem to suggest, however, it is not impossible for one discussion to earn a dollar, provided that it is an active discussion with a good number of responses and that you continue the discussion by commenting on the responses and so on.
This is where you will learn all about the myLot Earnings Program

@jonnyartist It takes a little while to get into it, I think, but the more that people see you around and like your responses and comments, the more they'll be likely to want to interact with you. Most people find it works best if they mostly forget about the 'earnings' and involve themselves socially. It doesn't matter too much how much or how little time you spend here just as long as you contribute something 'meaningful' to discussions (your own included, of course). Replacing your 'little green man' with an avatar of your own can help people recognise you, so you might want to think about that!

You have some good advice here so I don't need to add anything. The key though is interaction.

The key to this site is interaction, it has nothing to do with how many posts you make.

those that post numerous discussions in a day, actually only a few will be original and catch interest because many, many topics here are already repeat topics. it's better to treat mylot as an online hangout than a site to "work" in.
