Do you eat food after "best before" date?

I do It does say best before so I interpret it as still edible a few days after - unless it does not look edible anymore So far my tummy is okay. I sometimes buy many packs of food that I forget I have so... Do you eat expired food too?

It happens. As far as I know 'best before' means that it has the best quality 'till that date. If we eat it a few days later, it is often the same experience.

I changed my mind about buying those heavily discounted giant sized Toblerone chocolates as they had gone beyond the expiration date But later I was told they were safe. Regrets (lol)

It depends, but usually I try to eat before the best by if possible. If it did expire then I'll smell or taste a little before proceeding.

I eat out of date food all the time. Best before is only a guide. I am wary of eating food past its use by date but have done that too.

I do sometimes. If its only a few days or a week after the best before date and still looks, smells and taste okay, I do eat it.

Most food is still good for up to a week after the best before date. The best before date gives you an idea of when the food/beverage will begin to go bad. I eat food after the BB date but I always make sure its used up after two or three days.

No. I don't prefer to have it after expiry date as it's dangerous.
