Did I tell you, I am excited?

We actually have an estimate on the work we have been trying to get done in our yard for two years. It involves hooking the gas lines together, and hooking the water lines together, so we become one customer for each. It will save a little money, and look a little more attractive. The best part is that it is only going to cost about half what I anticipated it to be. The company does not know when they will come for sure, they will call us. I hope it is in a time when we are at home and not gone to Oklahoma.

It's always a relief when something will cost less than anticipated. It's usually the reverse.

When we had the electrician join those systems our house was out of code. It cost at least twice what I thought it would because he had to do that.

Why you are joining those two lines? You had two separate connections before for gas and water? Any way it is always a pleasant situation to get an estimate less than we expect in such cases! wish you all the best!

This house was actually two apartments, a duplex, when we bought it. If we join the lines I will have only one meter for each and my bill should go down as I will be a single customer then.

Yes, it is still a pretty penny, but not nearly so steep.
