My day today

This is my second attempt as I had somehow hit a button that closed the browser. I am always doing this! I woke up and checked my email. I had suspected that I would receive an email from my bank this morning and I was correct. My account was overdrawn because of the mess I was dealing with last night. I've talked about that in a previous post so I won't go into detail here. Paypal denied my claim. I need to email them because the section of the site that holds "withdrawals and direct withdrawals" is not easily accessible. I couldn't find it last night and I will try again shortly. I called my bank and began a claim with them over this mess. The man on the phone told me it may not be successful but he definitely understood my frustrations and noted it in my claim. I emailed the company responsible for the overdraft last night and I will contact them on Tuesday if I do not hear back from them on Monday. With that unpleasantness out of the way, I decided to work on a few websites. I have completed several tasks on microworkers and several articles on textbroker. I also played a few games on grabpoints, read and answered questions for two articles and did a few clicks for them. I've been off and on mylot all day. I have also been reading The Wily O'Reilly : Irish Country Stories and have less than 100 pages left. In the meantime I need to search for browser extension that will work similar to the program that I am now forced to get rid of. I've decided that I could let this annoying situation stress me but I won't let it.

I hope you get the financial situation sorted out. I know how badly those can mess up the entire month!

@ScribbledAdNauseum I get that. I must say that it is probably the best way to be.

@Shellyann36 I was taught to always handle things like that as soon as possible and never wait until the last minute. Of course, I am a lot nicer about it than the one who I learned from. He can be quite.. biting when he wants to be.

I hope that you will hear from the company after the weekend. The whole situation sounds annoying, but I am glad to hear that you won't let it stress you, and I hope that the rest of your day was okay. I have heard of Microworkers and Textbroker, but I haven't used any of them.

@ScribbledAdNauseum I am glad to hear that they are going to refund the money. I hope that everything will work out for you. I am not good at placement of commas especially not in English. The Danish comma rules and English comma rules are different. Which kinds of things do you write on Textbroker? Articles or other things?

@Porcospino Yes, articles. Well, I did do a bit of a tweet recap which was less than 20 words. I wouldn't call that one an article. I suppose I will go find English Grammar games and see if that won't help me figure it all out.

I checked paypal a little while ago and saw a notice that the company is going to refund the money. I hope it clears soon. I will probably contact the bank tomorrow or Monday as I have already put in a claim with them. Though I suppose the bank will come to the same conclusion and realize the company intends to reimburse me. I've just gotten into textbroker and I do hope it becomes very lucrative for me. It will also help me hone my writing skills. Grammar, especially as it comes to placement of commas, eludes me.

I did find out that they will be refunding me. I'm glad it only took a matter of hours. I instigated the inquiry at about 10 pm last night. I just found out an hour ago, so not yet a full day.

I hate being overdrawn. I would rather the bank just deny the attempt to take the money than let the account be overdrawn. . . but the bank likes nailing you with the $75 penalty for being overdrawn.

I absolutely hate it as well. I was not notified that this would be coming out and so I am protesting it. I contacted paypal first and told them that I wanted the automatic withdrawal canceled. I just checked paypal and the money will be refunded. I'm glad it only took a matter of hours and not days. I try to be so careful with my money and bank accounts. In my opinion, not notifying me of the pending transaction is grounds for me to get rid of the service.

@ScribbledAdNauseum I have a "fun money" account but I don't have access to the online bank account so I never know how much $$ is in it unless I go to the bank ATM and check. I kept getting overdrawn until my husband finally set up an email alert when the amount when under $50. Then I at least had a general idea of what I had in there.

@NJChicaa I got overdrawn on a savings account once. I had set it up as a automatic draft of $1.00 with every purchase using my debit card. Well I had stopped using my debit card and was charged a nominal fee. I contacted the bank and they reversed the charge for me as I wasn't aware of the stipulation. Apparently if you do not deposit into that savings account after so long a few is incurred. I've not had any problems since as I use my debit card atleast once a month now.
