I have only 85 notifications for now and that is good. While I post some replies and comments, the notifications increase.
But do you like to have more than a hundred notifications that it takes you more than a day to respond to them? Or do you like your notifications to be less than 50 or nearly 10, because you can finish it all at the end of the day?
I like both. I enjoy responding to notifications when there are many that are posted, but I also like my notifications about to be zeroed out and start fresh again. The advantage of having so many notifications is that you are assured of continuing your interaction with those who commented on your discussions. The advantage of having less notifications is you can immediately interact actively when somebody responds or comments, and not interact after a day or 2.
What other advantages can we have when there are more than a hundred notifications, or less than 50?

i cannot attend to more than a hundred notifications in just 2 hours because i stand once in a while. your discussions gain many comments and likes that is why you interact actively.

so, you do 2 things at the same time, kabsat? mylotting and teaching online? wow, i wish i can do that but my work is offline so i cannot possibly mylot while attending to my students and their patients.

no more. i had the "likes" disabled from my settings/notifications though there are still some that come. i just delete them once i open the notifications list.
i have known that your discussions always gain many likes and comments but ever since you had a discussion deleted, i think you are not very enthusiastic being here already? please correct me if i am wrong.

I have more than 100 or nearly 100 notifications each day in the morning. Most of my mylotting time goes in clearing them. I had maximum of 400 to clear up once when I decided to ignore them for a day.

maybe you have the 'likes' in your settings, am i right? in my case, i have disabled the 'likes' in the settings so what i receive in my notifications are those who responded and commented on responses from other users. the most number of notifications that i have reached is less than 300-maybe 257.

The most notifications I got was around 50-60 a day. I would always make sure that I zero those out when I end my mylotting.

@ridingbet this morning, I only had 35 or so notifications as I've been doing myLot sparingly. I'm done with those and have replied to more than a dozen other new posts. Will be back later in the afternoon to comment some more.

That's a lot my dear. I only have 11 and you know the reason behind it. I come and go. But I see to it that I zero out notification as well.
