My trip to the land of matoke

As my daily followers may have noticed I have been away for few day (I missed MyLot). I took a road trip to Kampala, Uganda which lasted for 14 hours. I was super tired.
The country is beautiful just like its people. What amazed me is their cuisine. It’s quite unique. Most if not all of their foods include matokes (green bananas ) and their breakfast is heavy. I never saw anyone eat junk food for the 3 days I explored the streets. Fast foods are very few if any. I had my share of a popular food known as katogo.

is that what they have for breakfast? i'm a rice eater, but that would be too heavy for me.
