Still have not decided where to go on vacation / myLot

It's almost August. In about a week hubby's time off from work starts. We still have not decided where we are going to travel to on our vacation. I hope we come to a decision soon because if we end up not going anywhere it's not gonna be good. Just staying home doing nothing will not be relaxing or fun. Been there. Done that. Sure we can probably go somewhere locally every day but it is better to get away somewhere, away from home. My suggestions to him were Washington, DC, or Cape Cod area, or maybe going up to Maine... So far he hasn't said yes to any of these or suggested anything else. I hate when there are no set plans...

I hope you can decide sooner. Maybe you can search places that you want to see and then suggest it to him. So you will just have more options.

It sounds like you are having a difficult time to decide where you will travel to for your vacation. How about a trip to Boston City and Cape Cod? Are you going to be camping or staying in a hotel? I imagine you will be driving so maybe Maine would be picturesque for you. I hope that you have a lot of fun choosing where to go.

I hope that you find the hotels are affordable. Sometimes go to a tourist information office and get a map. Then see where you wish to visit on the map.

@maximax8 I am sure we can find affordable places to sleep. All we really need is a bed, a working shower and toilet. That's it. I don't care about luxury as we only need somewhere to crash for the night. But to look for places to say we have to figure out our route. No point in looking for hotes/motels etc when no route figured out.

Definitely staying in a hotel. Choosing where to go is not that fun because it's hard to pick. Going there is fun though. But I am also bad at planning things, which is not helpful. Otherwise I would have come up with an itinerary already.

I don't mind no set plans as long as there are definite options. I am probably heading up to Montana soon, with a stop in Colorado.

I've never been to these states yet but I wanna go someday. I don't mind when everything is not spelled out when it comes to what we will be doing or where we will be going but hard to pack when I don't know exactly where we will be the whole time.

Cape isn't that great.. just beaches, traffic, and over priced things. LOL But hope you guys figure out a great place to vacation at.

I've actually been there a few times for mushroom hunting :). I love Provincetown though. I'd go back there.

@lovebuglena glad you've been and enjoyed it, but as a cape codder, its really not that great lol. I've been through Ptown but never stopped there for anything. Are you guys any closer to figuring out where you're going.
