Wedding dress

Do you still have your wedding dress? ( I'm asking the girls, of course 
) My wife wants to sell her wedding dress because she says it's just a dress and we need the money. We paid around 1200$ for it and now she wants to sell it for 500$. I don't know what to do, I actually want her to keep the dress .
What do you think? I mean, 500$ would be ok, but it's not like we have some urgent need for them. If it was just some dress, some piece of clothing, ok, but this is special. Would you sell the dress or would you keep it?

@hereandthere It wasn't the only thing they destroyed. My whole house was torn apart, and the police did nothing about it.

I still have my wedding dress. I might sell it in the future, if I can find a buyer.

@Kasjnak For me it would be okay to sell it I think. I have the photos, the cards and other things from our wedding, and those things are more important to me than the dress.

@Porcospino I was thinking about that too. To me the dress is also important, I'll always remember the first time I saw my wife wearing it 
. But it's ok if she wants to do it, in the end it's just a dress.

i have mine..complete with muddy paw prints from the "best dog"..
my friend was horrified and offered to clean it..but that dog has since passed away,and i want to keep it.so i got a puppy blessing i guess.

This kind of things, these little things are what kept me from selling it. Not yet at least, but we will, most likely

No daughter yet, but we want one . After reading some comments here, I think it's ok to sell it if that's what she really wants

I am a pratical type of person. If you will ask me, I will sell it. It is just hanging inside the closet.
