To buy or to rent?

Linda Mansfield (Snowdrop) @sprite1950 (30445) • Corsham, England 16 Jan 20

This year my mortgage finishes and I am so excited to be having the extra money in my bank account. I feel like I've always had this millstone around my neck. The only thing I hate about buying my own property is the fact I have...

yecall It is for sure better to buy. However, there are repairs as well as property tax associated with ownership. The problem with me is that I get sick of somewhere after 2 years. Then “the bloom is off the rose,” so to speak, and I really want to move on.

Sometimes it is Best to Give in to the Whims of Others

DianneN @DianneN (254327) • United States 16 Jan 20

I just returned from a lovely early morning walk up and down our street and discovered the pretty gate in my photo, not that it has anything to do with my topic. Most of you know how I thwart my husband’s desires to buy a boat to...

Snow!

The Horse @TheHorse (240840) • Walnut Creek, California 16 Jan 20

It rained all day today--not the mellow Seattle-style rain I've grown used to here. It poured. It was also colder than a witch's tit, as my dad used to say. I even blew off my late morning smoke break at work. On my way home, I...

yecall I live in Miami so the weather where I live is quite tropical. We have sun and palm trees, all of it. The weather you describe sounds quite enticing to me. I think I would enjoy it for a change actually. I would love to put on a big coat and go for it.
