A new month begins. Good morning, August.

Good morning August and good morning friends.
In my country, now in the middle of winter, they say that if old people can live through August, they will live another year.
August is usually the coldest month of the year. Although July has been awful this year. No rin has meant a foal air and lower temperatures in the morning.
Many of the people I know have been ill with colds and sore throats. It seems that all that is better but I wish this 31 days month would run quickly to meet September.
I imagine that many of you, in the other side of the planet, are welcoming the fall after having had a much too hot summer.
What is happening with the climate, I wonder? It is not a warming everywhere, it is a changing. What do you think?

I hope superstitions don´t work now. Could you have a nice crop of veggies in spite of the heat?

@LadyDuck I don´t think I´ll plant any veggies this year. I will have to teach Luna to behave first, but she is too young.

@marguicha I have many tomatoes and peppers right now. Tonight we expect a strong thunderstorm due to the heat.

It does seem a bit strange reading about your freezing temperatures while we are suffering through a hot summer. I hope August speeds by for you so that you can get on the other side of the coldest month. I look forward to September too as I love the Fall weather.

I guess I prefer my cold to so much rain you have. But then, you have some delicious fruits we can´t grow here.
