Yey!!!
I recently found a solution to my long time dilemma. Last March, I posted about me always ending up cold and without comforter almost everyday because my husband as he turns and turns roll the comforter in his body when sleeping.
I have been using my "Malong" for the past two nights now. Malong is a traditional tubular skirt in Zamboanga, a region of the Philippines. It has many designs and patterns and very colorful. Some hand woven and some machine made. Malong has many uses. Traditionally, it is use for dance, as cloth but as years went by, people find many use of it.
My sister gave me one when I was in college and I always bring it with me when I go to sleep over somewhere. It comes in handy as bedsheet and linen (almost like a sleeping bag). When we go to mountains or other areas where there are no rooms to change, malong serves as our changing rooms. When we have long travel, this serves as my shawl/jacket.
Right now, I have three malong. My daughter and husband knows how to use it already when we are traveling.
So, hopefully no more cold nights without linen for me.

Looks the same as a sarong which I use when I go to the beach or pool.

Best thing to do is to use one similar to those used in camping - a sack-like cloth where you put your body inside. That way, it's yours and yours alone hehehe!

@rakski yes indeed. you can even pee using the malong. you sit down and hide your head while sitting and expelling the urine out.

I have never liked sharing a comforter. That tossing and turning will surely make both uncomfortable Glad you solved your problem.

A friend of mine gifted me this beautiful scarf from Forever21. It's a winter scarf actually and I bring it whenever I travel because it keeps me warm.
At night, when it's too cold, I wear a sweat shirt.

We have a lot here. Two of my malongs came from Cagayan De Oro when my sister was working there. The other one came from Indonesia, a gift from a friend.
In Manila, you can buy with our Muslim brothers in Quiapo.
I experienced that also. Changing clothes inside a malong in a campsite.

Why don't you buy you're own comforter or kumot so that he won't roll to take the entire comforter. Well, This isn't bad either, my mom also uses it.
