Ten Movies "Everybody" Saw -- Except Me: Jurassic Park (#6)

As the rain falls, leaving a lovely pattern on the window, I'm thinking we'll be rained out in golf tonight. When it rains a lot of people go to the movies. Here's another blockbuster that got a lot of views when it was raining (or dry, or day, or night), but not from me.
#7: Jurassic Park
Oh, but ol' Steven Speilberg isn't crying because I didn't see it. Not with over $1.2 billion in box office receipts.
And why didn't I see it? I'm old. I remember the old Chiffon margarine commercials back in the 60s that said "It's not nice to fool mother nature." Seriously, I know that anytime man tries to "play God" there will be disastrous results. Why do I have to spend half a week's pay on a movie ticket and popcorn to see it?
With all the "franchise" movies nowadays, however, I may go see Harry Potter and The Jurassic Avengers.

I have seen all the Jurassic Park movies except the latest. Don't ask why. I don't know.

I have it on DVD,but only because I found it at work for a dollar. I didn't see it until much after the time that it came out.
I have the Michael Crichton books the movie series is based on as well.
