‘The Balconies’ are a geographical feature in the Grampians, not far from Halls Gap in Victoria, Australia. We walked about a kilometre to see these. Luckily it wasn’t a steep climb like some of our other treks but a pleasant walk through the bush till we reached a lookout which gave an incredible view over the surrounding countryside.
I think the top ‘balcony’ looks like some kind of medieval creature don’t you? And the bottom balcony blends into the background a bit much. There are now barriers to stop you standing on the top balcony which seems a pretty good idea.

It's fenced off now. The authorities must have decided it was too dangerous to continue to let people stand on the edge. They could have a competition - how many people can stand on the edge before it breaks.

It seems funny to see that rock just kind of suspended there.

Lovely view. I think it looks like some kind of dinosaur.

It does look like the head of some dragon or gigantic reptile creature! With all those thrillists out there, I can picture them trying to climb or hang (or take a selfie
) from the "balcony"!
