It free speech became hate speech nowadays?

As I was scrolling true some comments on youtube I found some "drama" . So basically someone shared their opinion on a music video .her/his opinion was not a positive one but neither a hateful opinion. but of course multiple people started to attack her . Are really people so easily offended ? or everyone is like porcelain?

People are too PC these days especially on the net. In my opinion some people WANT to be offended and make a fuss about things. They should realise that many on the net will occasionally say things just to get a reaction

True most of the people hide before thd Pc. But still to cyberbully someone just sharing their opinion is really stupid. Plus sometimes media won't help . slowly we going back to the era when people were afraid to speak

@vriam456 On the internet people must be naive if they think sharing their opinion won't attract those with an opposite opinion. I don't necessarily see things as cyber bullying as that's a strong word. Lets say I shared my opinion on a "hot topic" such as abortion. I may say I think X then others who think Y will more than likely jump in and disagree...obviously the tone that disagreement takes will depend upon the individual but I know if I share an opinion I may well get some heat from the opposition camp.

@Mike197602 True sharing an opinion comes with good and bad but one is to receive an disagreement comment or one is to receive an personal attack . For ex: You said hot topic "abortion" one can agree one can disagree but when they don't actually disagree on your opinion rather they attack you personaly Lets hypothetically you've said you think abortion is a better option than giving birth then abandon your child people my disagree on you but some will get defensive like " you should go and kill yourself" or " you shouldn't live on this earth" stuff like this

Yeah we need to think more than twice what to say . honestly is pretty sad that we can't share our opinions more freely .

some people don't get it that it is just an opinion. They take things so personal and get overboard for non-issues.

@vriam456 It is so unfortunate that people want to protect their own online and never corrects them face to face. Why don't they mind their own business if they feel irritated by a comment? And move on.

Digital media has already got hold of a lot of people. The exposure to a lot of things that a lot of users (kids in general) shouldn't be exposed too. Sadly in most cases digital media is the mother/father/brother/sister/friend for a lot of kids
