I got good news in the mail this week

According to my coupon book and records I had three more payments to make on my shed I bought for myself when we bought this place. I guess the coupon book they sent out was wrong. I got a letter in the mail that said I was paid in full. In addition, they sent back my $100 deposit, plus a little over $4 that was an overage. Who would not want to hear that a bill is paid off, and that they get money back? Free image is from Pixabay.

Coupon Book ? I'm just confused, I guess I would consider it an Invoice book? But I think I may be missing something here. Either way, Yay!

They refer to the payment stub right on the front of it as a "coupon". Please include this coupon with your payment and write the order number on the memo line of your check. Just different places. And yes, Yay.

@GardenGerty Ah, okay, no I've seen things written out like that before. I feel like it was written similar when I was having to pay off a medical bill (pink eye).

@ScribbledAdNauseum Quite likely. I am glad to have that money as it is going towards paying the plumbing bill.

This is great, it does not happen often to receive money back.

I was surprised as I thought the deposit was part of the actual price. Pleasant surprise, though.

@GardenGerty Two years ago the phone company gave us back $500.00. As we are now Swiss resident from more than 10 years, the deposit is no more needed.

Nice to get things paid off, isn't it? I'm just about paid up on my MasterCard...

@BarBaraPrz It is always something. That money will help pay the plumber.

@GardenGerty Unfortunately, I'll be filling mine up soon, too. I have a large tree that needs pruning and a fence that needs replacing. Sigh.
