Milk Bottles

There is a goodwill nearly right across from where I bank. On the way back from the bank this morning,I decided it would be nice to stop into goodwill and have a look around. It has been quite a long time since I've stepped into one. The layout was completely different since the last time I had been there and it appeared to me that there were more clothes than anything. It has me curious as to what the others look like now. There was a small section for pots, pans, glasses and the like. I found a silicone Gingerbread Mold for $1.00 that I bought. I saw a few other things there but decided not to get them. I saw two milk bottles as well, the kind that you used to get from the milk delivery service. I was tempted to snatch them up but I didn't. I wonder if I'll regret not doing that. I didn't have a use for them though, so that's why I didn't grab them up. I wonder if anyone else in my community will see the value in them (as I did) and snatch them up?

I have old chemical bottles with the names raised on them. They are really pretty cool. I used to have them displayed but that was until my bad cat started jumping up onto where they were displayed, knocking them down, and breaking them. Now they are put away in storage.

I used to live in a place that had room above the kitchen cabinets to display things. The area was sort of "cordoned" off by a mini balcony looking thing. Wasn't pet accessible either.

@ScribbledAdNauseum This wouldn't be pet accessible to "normal" cats but Bad Sandy isn't normal.

I have two old glass bottles that were milk bottles. They are in the basement with hundred of other things that "may be" could be useful one day.

I try to steer away from the "maybe I could use this" mindset now. I've had that mindset for years and have ended up with a lot of things I just don't need / use. Though I won't lie, I am tempted to go buy those bottles.

@LadyDuck Agreed. I've seen a lot of videos about small apartments in places like New York and Japan. I've seen videos about tiny homes, and also about space saving furniture. I love the concept of all of that to be honest. I'd be happy living in a rural area in a small cabin.

@ScribbledAdNauseum The problem having a lot of space is that you fill every corner with things that you possibly will never use.

I sort of hope not. I am thinking of going to get them, but I'm not sure. I love things like that. I love antiquities.
