In the Middle of the Night

Those of you who follow my discussions remember that I turned in early.
That was a good thing.
Hubby did a little chore. Then he came to bed too. He has been having some abdominal pains, possibly pulled muscle. That is what the doctor said.
He went right to sleep, then woke right up. He could not get comfortable. He was bleeding in ways he should not have been. It hurt to lay down, or sit up. Standing up was barely tolerable.
We went to the emergency room in McPherson, where his records are. They were having a busy night, but did what they could to make him comfortable.
He had a CAT scan, anti nausea meds, IV fluids and eventually, pain meds. Also an injection of antibiotics.
We are home now and will see the urologist again. There is an infection, quite probably. And a blockage, quite probably.
So I did not go to work today. I hope it was nicer fo you in the middle of the night.

I am so sorry to hear of all the pains he is going through. I'm hoping they can figure it all out and get him feeling a lot better soon.
I am sure you are both tired from a night at the ER.

Yes, we are tired. He got some good rest here at home. My next post will tell you what I have been doing, though.

How awful. Glad he got some meds for the pain. Sleep is so nice after such an experience.

We had to hurry home, or we would have napped at my sister's house before driving. He had scheduled an appointment to have a windshield replaced in his little car. I have not had sleep yet. Too busy cleaning up all the messes.

@celticeagle Well, we have plumbing problems. I got one bathroom nice and cleaned up, though. Even got a nice shower at the end of the day. I cannot do laundry at home until we have a plumber in. My washer makes everything else back up.

I think I have caught a cold. Hubby is doing better but he is anxious for his follow up.

@GardenGerty I had a bad cold a few days ago, must have got it from some members here 
. I slept lots in the last few days and the cold seems to have left me (but it is now with you 
). Do sleep and rest a lot if you could. (I almost finished a whole novel yesterday while resting my tired legs then sleeping the rest of the day!)

The fact that so many people around me are sick is why I could not take a contract this year.I do hope he gets back to himself really soon.
