I have two accounts on Twitter. I use one for my writing persona and one for following politics. Once in a while I respond on the political one to something particularly ignorant, hateful, or just plain false that people, including politicians and pundits, write in their Tweets. Evidently, a certain heavily cosmetically surgically redesigned young Republican pundit on Fox took exception to my pointing out she was lying about something and reported me to the Twitter Police resulting in my being placed in Twitter Jail for 12 hours. In all honesty, it may not have been pointing out the lie that landed me in my time-out, but my accurately describing her as a "vacuous bimbo." This description may have been unfair in the eyes of some. Spot on in the eyes of most who follow the inanities she tweets and says on Fox. As a lover of the First Amendment and Freedom of Speech, I take it as a badge of honor that I bothered this fascist bigot enough that she reported me. It will be the jewel in my crown if, when my time-out is over, I learn that she has blocked me as well. Are you active on Twitter? Have you ever tried it? What do you use it for?
