Yesterday, we attended the wake of my sister-in-law's grandmother. She died at the age of 95.
While there, I noticed that the departed siblings are also old ladies, one is 86, the other, 79. I asked their secret for staying healthy in spite of the age, and one said she is always active in doing so many things inside and outside the home.
At 79, she said she still cuts grasses and bushes at their coffee and cacao orchard; a very hard work that should be done by strong men or women. She also sells vegetables and other produce at the market, waking up at dawn. She also walks a lot.
I admire and envy them for not having arthritis or any leg pain. They look healthy and do not have any maintenance medicines.
Do you also admire such old people?

I think so because the siblings reach such an age and they are still strong.

Wow that's great! So you have her genes, I guess.

Those works they have to do is what makes them healthy actually. Imagine, walking a lot. Walking, is what the doctor tells old people to do as an exercise.

So glad to know about it; they all live so long and still active in spite of the age.

It is true! Having an active lifestyle can add more years to life.
