Planned Spontaneity

I am not a spontaneous person by nature. And I have been chastised more than once for being this way.
"You should be more spontaneous."
I agree.
But I can't. I am regimented. Things I do are planned. I like things to be on a calendar. I like to know what is happening in advance of when it is going to happen. I like to plan for things that will happen.
It is just my nature, and even my wife has complained from time to time.
So, I have come up with a plan to be both planned and spontaneous. That is, I will simply plan something, not tell anyone, and spring it on them last minute, and voila!
I am spontaneous.

Lol. That picture made me laugh.
I'm like you though. Have you taken the MBTI ever? I think we probably both have the last initial of J in our results.
I know, I have a friend who literally decided to go to Vegas - the morning of the day we left. We were going in a large group, and this was much to the chagrin of everyone else as it was difficult to get her a ticket so she could be seated with us, staying in the same hotel, etc. I don't know how to be that way. I just don't function like that.
I like your new plan on being spontaneous though. lol

Had a good laugh at that one! I think I'm a mixture of both. I sometimes enjoy planning something more than the event itself.
