it's so quiet

Every single child is in school right now.
Every single adult is out of the house.
I can't remember the last time I had the house to myself... it's definitely been years since that happened.
What will I do with myself today? A long bubble bath? A mani-pedi? Take a much-needed nap?
None of that, unfortunately. I get to spend my morning cleaning, it seems. Our new couch is arriving today and I need to pick up all of the toys and vacuum the family room and living room (plus figure out where this futon is going to go until we can take it to storage).
But at least now I'll have a place to lounge when the next quiet day rolls around.

@amadeo I need to take a picture of all of the kids on the couch. They gasped when they came home and saw it -- "It's BIG! We can all sit down at the same time!"

I ran into a snag when I couldn't figure out how to empty the Dyson vacuum (the kids have been doing the vacuuming for a year and I forgot), but @thislittlepennyearns helped me figure it out.

I should clarify that this is a "new to me" couch, but not a brand new couch. This is my sister's sectional that I posted about a couple of months ago when she offered it to me.

I want a futon! The frames are cheap, but the mattress expensive. So, I cannot afford.
