Last night I actually logged on twitter and spent some time going through tweets. I have the app installed on my phone, but don't spend a lot of time there other than sharing news articles to it, and very very rarely posting tweets.
Anyways I stumbled across a tweet by a WWE wrestler. Rob Van Dam in fact, and commented on it. I didn't think much of it, just posted the first thing that popped into my head.
Well a little later Twitter alerted me and told me that he had liked my tweet.
It's the little things, and this little thing brought a smile to my face.

I love these moments. I am still over the moon from an instant that happened like 5 years ago when Cry responded to one of my tumblr posts. Like I have had Grav3yardgirl retweet something and just random other famous people acknowledge my existence, it makes you realized, oh yeah we live in the same world!

Exactly. The actor/musician who owns the coffee company I just got that coffee from liked a couple of my Instagram posts about the coffee and music he makes. That made me happy too.

@thislittlepennyearns When I was at my conference last week, all my colleagues were commenting on how much they miss my Facebook and twitter posts, and how I always kept them laughing with my antics. Maybe I'll get back to posting more actively here soon, as I didn't realize people actually paid attention.

@thislittlepennyearns Yeah I followed him. I followed Batali too until he deleted his account. I still follow Bobby Flay, Julia Turshen, Stella Parks, J. Kenji Lopez-Alt, Ina Garten, and Gabriele Corcos. That's it I think.
