Happy first day of September to us all, from this side of the world. Have you achieved your August goal? I was out of the site at intervals yesterday because I was concerned about Chibi, our old Pomeranian. Since lunchtime, Chibi did not have the appetite. He did not even take a bite with the piece of bread we offered him for breakfast. Until dinner, he did not eat and he was so lethargic. Sydney, his buddy Pomeranian also came here at home to give Chibi company but Chibi responded fairly only. My sister cooked some dog food for him and I prepared him some ‘soup’ from the food; he ate a little. My son then brought him up to his room;he was so weak. My son and sister said Chibi might have colds because his snout is dry. I held his snout and it was dry. I hoped he will be well today. This morning, I got up and checked on Chibi in my son’s room. He was not in his makeshift bed. I got worried. Then when I went down, he was in his favorite nook. I offered him pieces of bread and he ate. I also checked his snout and it is already moist. Chibi is feeling fine now. He barks loud,walks around, and is fully awake. It makes one fur mother worry when her pet dog is not feeling well.
