Hello everyone. Another reason why I am at my daughter's school today is to release financial assistance. Yes, you read it right. Last year, one of he projects of the Parents-Teachers Association is to give financial assistance to students who need it. It just to give them a little help. We give them an allowance of 1000 Php pesos ($20) per month. Some of them are really thankful. We also give them Christmas gift but they have to maintain a passing grade. The amount is not that big but I thi k iy is helpful somehow. Have a lovely night and day to all.

That's really helpful. Is that a private school?

Yes, it is. But there are handful of students who really are deserving

@rakski I wonder how they can afford to pay the tuition but still need financial support? Just wondering.

Excellent project, unlike the projects before, floor wax, mops and trash cans.

We screen them. We also got recommendations from their teachers.

We allocate the excess funds during our term so we can extend it this year too.

I am sure any amount would be helpful. That is a really good scheme - and a good idea to insist on a passing grade too.
