Today Andrés came to me house quite angry. He had taken Sombra to the vet near my home to be spayed, but Sombra was in heat do they could not do it. He is worried because he is going to Australia with Sombra on October.
I had heard that b*tches had to have puppies at least once before being spayed. But my friend Anna here said that was not true.
Leticia had heard the same thing I knew so I asked Google dear.
And unless you WANT to have lots of puppies, there´s no need for them to wait for a litter of puppies. In fact, it is worse for the she-dogs to have babies, health wise.
So I will spay Luna as soon as possible, maybe doing it at the same time as Sombra, if Andrés can handle it.
Did you know that? How did you learn things before Google was available?

I did that for decades. Now I don´t know what to do with my old encyclopedias.

I read that you could even have the puppies spayed at 2 months of age. I did not do that, but I will now take care. Maybe it was for the best as the weather is warmer now.

@marguicha If I remember well, the best is around 6 months of age, two is a bit too early.

Why would you think they had to have puppies before they got spayed. Spaying is to prevent puppies.

I had been told that they had to have one litter of puppies. If they didn´t, they would become anxious or have other personality disorders.
