$97.00 + No Credit ='s Trip to the dollar tree, walmart and home.

United States
September 4, 2018 10:26am CST
Went to the thrift store and sold my xbox one with kinect and two controllers. I also sold them a couple of my coloring books. They gave me $97.00 for my trouble. Went to the dollar tree. This one did not have the latch jars like the other one had, but they did have a better (and cleaner) selection of books. I didn't get any of them. I bought some candy though. Went by walmart to pick up a few things and am now home. $97.00 for my xbox one isn't bad.

That's better than you thought you were going to do today. I got a freelance payment today of $75. So that was nice. I'll have to do a small haul at work today. Some wreath making goodies and I'll see if anything good came yesterday on tje truck

Can you tell me where you freelance? Don't post any links but just some general information so I can search it. Is it selling or crafts or what?

Yes, I was very pleased with what I got. The DT I went to had their fall / halloween stuff out already. I didn't spend a lot of time in the store, but I did see some things I am thinking about getting to make things in.

@ScribbledAdNauseum They have Christmas out at the stores here. I know ours is out. Not all of it. But a good amount.

I appreciate the compliment. I wouldn't say I am a "sales person" though. I didn't barter (you can't at this place), and I'm only getting rid of things that are not being used.

@amadeo Definitely. It makes room for more items to sit for awhile and gather dust.

I have an old GameBoy that I do not use, I think I should sell it.

@ScribbledAdNauseum There are surely many things in our house that people would like to buy. I want to get rid of plenty of things.

I thought so as well. It was good to finally be rid of it also. I may sell them my Wii, but then after that it will be quite awhile before I go back to the store.

@Marilynda1225 Yes, I was so glad I started to do this. I've made over $300.00 just doing this.

@ScribbledAdNauseum getting money for things just taking up space is such a good idea

That sounds like a smart move. And it is brilliant to spend it at Dollar Tree. I heard that DT has bath bombs now. I have not seen any but will keep looking.

I only spent $5.00 at DT. I do not know if they do or don't. I make my own beauty supplies so I didn't even go down that aisle.

@ScribbledAdNauseum One of the people here told me about the DT bath bombs. I know my son bought some from mail order. They had rings inside. He thinks they are valuable but they probably are not.

They do. Several different kinds..

Of course, instead of filling a space at home which we may use for other items or just throwing them away, it's a much better deal, and getting $97 is a great one!

Agreed, now the space can be used for something else. I was so glad to get the $97.00.
