I agree with Kermit, it is time to have a break. I need a cup of coffee. I'll stay on mylot for a while but I must have some coffee. It will be a kind of coffee break. This morning has been very peaceful. I love days like this. There is nothing that either my hubby or I must do so, it's a lazy kind of day. Dinner tonight will be my own version of Sloppy Joes and cole slaw. I can't eat mine on a bun so I will be using a flour tortilla. I am looking forward to it. Other that that it will be writing, reading, and resting. The hubby will be glued to the TV watching his NASCAR race. What does your day look like?

Day is much the same as yours Susan not much to do at all today. A day of rest. Happy Sunday to you both. Enjoy your sloppies later on. Might do a bit of fried fish later on.

I went to the grocery, and now I’m eating lunch at Olive Garden. This afternoon I’ll try to find a baseball game that’s not rained out to watch (doesn’t look good for the Reds or the Cubs, and the Pirates have already postponed their game!). Tonight it’s apples and honey!

Apples and honey sounds good. I love Olive Garden. Right now they have a special going on - buy one eat in dinner, get one free to take home.

I've spent most of the day working on the cover for my new book. That includes writing the back cover blurb.

That's great. It can be fun and frustrating at the same time.

I usually use ground sirloin, a shake or two of Worchershire sauce, chopped tomatoes, onions, green pepper, salt and pepper, and a whole lot of love.

On days like that time seems to fly by.

@HazySue I also make my own version of sloppy joes too. I ground the meat and put onion in and tomato paste and mix it around and try to see if it good or not yet there.

And that's how you make a good sloppy joe.

Its raining here today so I'm feeling extra lazy. Nothing planned so I'll be curling up with my book at some point.
