Nap Time

It's been a long day since 3:30 this morning and if I'm going to stay awake for the game tonight, I need a nap.
Church was great with a message on endurance. Then a friend, who has had medical issues was back in church for the first time since early July and asked if I wanted to go to lunch. Her treat. We had a wonderful lunch, and now I'm home.
I'm not finished with the notifications, and I don't know how much more I will accomplish this afternoon, but I need a nap.
I also heard from the editor I sent the first chapter to a few days ago, and I was literally amazed at the improvements in it. I hope I can do justice to the rest of the book, but I have something to base the editing on for the rest of the book. No, I'm not going to hire her for my editor. I would like to, but I don't have the funds and she knows it and didn't press when we met together on Wednesday.
So, for now, I will leave you and hope to return before game time tonight. If it works out, I will try to myLot during the game, but I haven't been able to watch TV and myLot at the same time in the past, so we'll see what happens. The game starts at 7:30, so I will either be on my laptop in front of the game, or I will only be watching the game at that time.
What are your Sunday plans? Are you watching football's opening game? Who is your team playing?
GO PACK GO! Thanks for reading. Picture is mine.

I sure hope you got that nap in.
Unfortunately my bf just told me that rodgers got hurt again so the season is basically over - to him (bf) anyways.
I watched all of the patriots game (ick they won) and half of the cowboys game before my mom came home and we went out.

So, your bf didn't finish watching the game, and didn't know that Rodgers came back to the game after the half and we actually won by 1 point? Yes, The Pack WON! 24-23!!!

@Courtlynn I think everyone felt the same way. I was happy to see him back. From what I learned this morning at the Y, the receptionist works for the Packers, is we'll know more about Aaron Rodgers tomorrow.

I don't usually take a nap on weekends. But yesterday, after playing a game on my phone at our bedroom, for about one hour, I suddenly got so sleepy at past 3:00 in the afternoon and woke up at past 5:00 in the afternoon.
That evening, I was able to sleep past 12:00 midnight already. Oh my, now I am sleepy at the office.

@just4him After waking up from my nap, I was so reinvigorated , I was able to clean our bedroom so well.
With regards my little amount of sleep that evening, I was also able to work well. I just napped for 15 minutes during our one hour lunch break.

I was not here for awhile. I was sick for two weeks, and then I had ear surgery on Friday. Still recovering from that. When I got back all my notifications were gone. I thought I had some. What did you have to eat? Enjoy your game. I don't have a team. What snacks will you have for the game?

@just4him Right now, the only thing that does not hurt to eat is soup. I would love a cobb salad without the bacon.

Considering football is a thirteen minute long game broken up by endless stretches of nothing much going on, you should have time to myLot in between plays.
I stopped watching football years ago when the news came out about the NFL and college teams ignoring and covering up the TBI players were suffering from continued hits to the helmet/head, even though they knew the repeated trauma was leaving players disabled and some were even dying from it, and still are today because the steps they've taken don't address the constant pounding the guys on the line take.

I'm glad your team won, even though I'm not a Patriots fan.

The nap was just under an hour, so I hope it's enough. Thank you. I plan on it.
