My TV won't Work

I don't watch TV very often Today, I want to watch hurricane news and coverage. All I get is no signal. I am so not happy. I tried to program it and probably set it back for years. I don't have cable but have a ROKU that I can't figure out how to work either. I always have trouble when my son plays his games there. I asked him to fix it but he took off and left it. I don't know what to do. I know nothing about anything right now. Do you ever have TV problems? What do you do about it?

Maybe get a secondhand Tv for him just to play his game. Or ask him to teach you how to fix it in free time.

@BabeSays I don't watch a lot but wanted to watch hurricane news and 911 remembrances. I just want it to work when I want to watch.

It used to be so simple. We turned it on and watched it. Now you need degrees in things to watch.

@akalinus I had purchased my TV in 2007.After functioning well for long 11 years it now seems to have some problem.My friend says I should get it repaired, but it would be better to buy a new one.

It is a better bargain to buy a new one than to repair such an old one.
