Little Boy Blue

Many days they came to the mall. The mother wore a long dress. The little boy was maybe four or five years old. He wore a blue velvet suit. He sat next to her looking very sad.
I always wondered what became of that poor child. I know he must have been dreaming of wearing jeans and a tee shirt like other kids his age. What would happen when he started school? Would he be cruelly taunted and bullied?
Little boy blue might be fun in a nursery rhyme but not in real life. What do you think about this?

@akalinus Wow!! You saw the little boy and his sadness, too. ( That's how I should try to see things ). You are very sensitive.I highly appreciate you.I learned from your post how to be sensitive enough to see in and out of things.

@Shivram59 Your English is pretty good and will get better the more you write in it. This is a good place to practice English.

@akalinus Thanks for explaining it so beautifully.I'll try my best to do so.
Actually English is a foreign language for me.My mother tongue is HindI. Sometimes.I can't express myself correctly in English. You must have noticed my English is not very good and I often commit grammatical mistakes.

Did you ever see him again? It would be nice to learn what happened to him and what kind of life he had.

That does sound a bit bizarre. I hope he ended up having a good life.

I don't ever remember seeing a boy--any boy--wearing a blue velvet suit!
Of course what you might be seeing may not exactly being what it is--sort of projecting yourself into the little boy.

I would feel sorry for the boy and hope that when he did go to school he dressed like the other children.
