Where was my bus ???

So this morning I arrived in plenty of time at the bus stop and waited for my bus to arrive. I catch it every morning into town on my way to work.
Nooooo, it did not turn up this morning ….so I had a 15 minute walk to the nearest bus stop to catch another bus ….travelling on a slightly different route.
I text the bus company who have not yet replied !!!
Dreadful service from a dreadful company....

@Traceyjayne This is a shame, I hope that the bus company will do something to avoid this problem.

Stagecoach?
They are the bane of my life. If you want bus stories, I could write a book. I left a message on their main FB page last week because I was so angry!

Diamond. Took over our local bus company in February and we have had a shockingly bad service ever since. I regularly text them … it has become a sort of hobby because it happens so often. They rarely even bother to reply ….

@Traceyjayne Ah, we're monopolised by Stagecoach in this bit of England. They therefore think they can do what they want, where they want and how they want. Grrr.

There is usually a good reason why a bus has not turned up - a driver shortage, perhaps, or a road diversion that means that your stop has had to be by-passed.
My bus problem is that the timetable has been changed, meaning that I can no longer get a bus home after my evening part-time job. This has now led me to having to give up the job.

I would like to believe that there was a good reason ..but this happens too many times ….I saw the bus going along the main road sometime afterwards and the driver was going into town ...completely missing the entire route.

That would be very annoying. At least you had an alternative way to get to work.
