I don't feel like talking to any of you

Which is a good reason to not be so active the past seven days, right? I'm not sure who all have noticed my semi-absence. I've been here, I've made discussions, but I've not actively participated in awhile. Oh, and it's not that I don't want to talk to any of you, it's just that I don't have a lot to say. So, this is me saying that I'll try to get back to everyone, but if I don't? Nothing is wrong, I just don't feel like it at the moment. I really DO need to finish reading the rest of this book though.

I think that happens to many in here. There are times that we tend to lose interest on something for a time then when you are in the mood again you return to participate. There is nothing wrong with that as there is no requirement for you to be present always in here. Just chill when you need one and return if you are ready to participate again.

Yes, of course, and this isn't the first time that I have gone on a hiatus of sorts. My announcing it served two purposes. 1) to let those who cared know that I was still here but not in the mood to mylot and 2) to perhaps give me an incentive to mylot.

I am not in the mood of writing, but I like to visit discussions and to comment.

I try to do that (visit people's discussions) but I often find that I forget to go back to them. Then there are some who do not seem to be as talkative. I think today I will try to get back to all of my discussions, not because I am any more eager to correspond here, but because I don't want to leave them for too long.

The way I've been feeling lately, I'm actually surprised that I've been as active on here as I have been--though I've been more active today than yesterday, and yesterday I was feeling worse...

@ScribbledAdNauseum A little, especially now that I have some actual medicine in the house, which I'm going to go take in a bit. I've been drinking a lot of tea and soup.

@xstitcher Tea and soup always helps. I also boil cloves and cinnamon and use it as a humidifier. I take tylenol in the blue liquid as it helps me the best and fastest.

If I have a cold, the most I do is watch t.v. or read. I'm sure I've been on here whilst sick, but I just don't have the energy usually. Are you feeling better?

We tend to spend too much time on our computers. It's good to be reading a book for a change of pace. What's the title?

I am nearly always reading a book, even if I am also online a lot. I am reading "Half Broken Things" by Morag Joss. I just can't seem to get that into it at the moment though.

@josie_ I can't do that. Not because I couldn't find the film, but because I've already started reading it and I don't watch the movies of books I've read. Also, it's getting a bit better now. Perhaps I'll get into it yet.

It happens to me too, especially when I am not feeling well or I am not in the mood to say anything. Anyway, enjoy reading your book. Take care, Amber.

Yes, when I am not feeling well, I do not feel like doing much of anything. I did have a bad stomach ache the day before yesterday, so that was part of it. Luckily, that has eased off.

I like the book, but parts of it are more dull than others. I am going to stick through it and try to finish it though, so that I can get on to reading more thriller themed books.

I should read it, but I feel like it's taking a lot of time to get to the good parts of the book. Some parts are more confusing than others as well. Though reading is definitely a past time I intend to take up a lot more of.

This is true, but then I have more time to kill. I don't have an outside job, most of my money is mad online or by selling things I no longer need. Odd jobs like petsitting here and there also keep my wallet happy.

I was a lot more active last month than I had been in quite awhile. So I probably overdid it a bit as well.

Since my life mostly revolves around the PC there are not many moments when I do not want to be at my PC but there are times when I just want to leave the world outside the door. Then I do not turn my PC on for at least a whole afternoon. Enjoy your book.

I turn on my PC every day as it's my means of earning, and so it's a necessity. Though there are days I try to stay away from it more than I am on it. Thank You. I am trying to get into the book, but it's just not held my attention.
