Hello everyone.
As I mentioned in my yesterday's post that I had a project and I used the sewing machine for that.
Well, this is it. I have to make a costume for the United Nations Day celebration from the Polynesian group of New Zealand, the Maori. They will also dance a dance native of Maori.
Every October, the school celebrates the United Nation's Day and the students usually wear costumes that represent a national costume of a country. They also perform a dance from different countries.
I know that my project is not that good, but hey, I tried to look for one that I can bought in physical store as well as online and I only saw international sites and I cannot afford that with the shipping fee for a one-day event in school.
I still have to complete the accessories though.

Perhaps your child can follow this original haka dance of the Maoris in this video. I've seen the Maoris do a live performance for visitors when we visited our daughters in NZ. The led us inside a Maori structure which they consider holy and we were instructed to leave our footwear outside and be silent throughtout their performance.
