this morning while checking my FB page on what's going on in my home town in Ohio, I found someone had put a video on there of our flood wall street. It was so good to see how things look now. though a bit sad to see all our businesses that shut down. almost a ghost town these days. I wanted to see if anyone can see this I post
.now at least I got a photo of part of the wall

yes it is
in fact i believe it is where they got the idea from some people from Holland settled there. there is a little suburb called Holland Bend on that other side of town. it is to hold back the river that has flooded the town a few times and destroyed buildings and took lives in the thirties and forties even earlier back. but they didn't mural it till around 10 or so yrs. ago.

@Ladanger thank you. i just think it is the coolest thing. they painted it with historical things of our town plus it is actually a wall put there because of floods that have came because of the great river there

yes but i keep hoping the town will come back one day to it's old glory .especially with improvements like this interesting wall for tourists to look at

thank you. they painted pictures/ murals of the towns history and famous people from it . for years it was just a wall then about 10 yrs back they painted it. wish i could have seen it for real but i was moved away by then.

yes i finally got the video to load but not the one i wanted. it does hold back the floods they have. and now it is painted with town history
