It is 5:14 early morning here to my end, my fellow myLotters, good Monday to all!
"Please don't ask me why I'm so in love with you". Oh yes, that song was playing so loud several minutes ago and I thought hearing that song in the stillness of dawn wakes up many sleepers.
That song continuously played loud and it was accompanied by the barking of our dogs that made me stand and go out of the house to tell the person playing the song to tone it down.
It was the garbage disposal truck. That is their new method of letting everyone in the neighbourhood know that they are collecting the garbage. Good thing my son brought out of 2 garbage bags when he opened the door for the dogs to have their morning ritual.
We therefore expect the gate will be free from trash but sometimes some people disobey the rules; they throw garbage after the garbage truck passed by already.
That loud music - everybody should know why the loud music.

@playertwo i hate it too lol but this one is not directed directly at anybody, it's a signal to put the trash out of the house, we have no choice but ignore the honking, otherwise we will be stuck with garbage till the next day's pickup

yes, the very loud horn honking is so annoying. nice to learn the driver of the garbage truck resorted to playing music 'na lang'.

We have a neighbor who is fond of playing loud music anytime of the day. He sometimes plays Christmas songs even during summer.

i woke up at 4:450AM and slept again, until the loud music. i could not sleep again that is why i will log out later to take morning nap

it is, but the loud music was to wake the neighborhood up so they throw their trash at the specific time for throwing.

it actually wakes up the whole neighborhood so we should throw our garbage at the truck. so there will be no more trash after the truck passed by already

yes and it was effective. this morning, they went "tagalog". "kay rami nang, pusong nasugatan; kay rami nang matang pinaluha" (so many hearts were hurt, so many crying eyes). it was fun actually

no, i don't hate it, kabsat. i was appreciating what they were doing so the people will throw their garbage. i was just worried because the dogs kept on barking, there might be some irate neighbors who will do something on them.

The garbage is also collected early in the morning 4:30- 5:30 here but without the loud blaring of horn or music. They run on silent mode and if you don't put out the garbage that's your problem. We take them out the night before the morning pick up

some neighbors throw their garbage right in front of our gate and when the wind blows, some wrappers of Skyflakes fly inside. we do not know who threw their garbage bags that are not tied.
when my son brings out the dogs in early morning, he also brings out our garbage bags and puts them at the right side of our gate.

yes, and still there are some unruly neighbors who put their garbage bags right in front of our gate. once i hid behind the post of our gate and i saw an elderly man throwing his garbage bag in front of the post where i wrote the reminder. i suddenly went out and told him to tie his bag and put it in the designated area.

Talking about the loudness in the morning, I live near a minor airport that starts operating at 4am since I was little. This made me an early bird my whole life, which actually helped me accomplish more during the day.

it was actually nice because the neighbors were awake to throw their garbage. this morning, the truck passed by with another loud music at 5:30AM already
