First, WALKAWAY . . and here comes - BLEXIT!

I am sure most of us (if not all) here in myLot are listening/watching news on TV. WALKAWAY and BLEXIT are new movements against liberals and democrats. WALKAWAY was organized by a popular young liberal/democrat, who is fed up of democrats/liberals' childishness. The movement is encouraging liberals and democrats to WALK AWAY from the democratic party to join the Republican Party! BLEXIT (Blacks Exit) is a youth movement organized by CANDACE OWENS a popular 29-year-old conservative. She is black. Miss Owens with the full support of Kanye West, a Trump-supporter, started this youth movement to encourage black Americans to get out from the stranglehold of the democratic party. Thousands of liberal Americans (young and old - - blacks, Hispanics, et al) are joining these movements. Well, you cannot blame them. While the Republican party under President Trump is trying hard to MAKE AMERICA GREAT again - - the democrats/liberals are obsessed in making the DEMOCRATIC PARTY in power again. O, boy, I could not wait to read what the Trump-haters say! (note: complementing photo - courtesy of Pixabay)

The Walkaway movement was actually co-opted by Trumpian trolls and bots and rendered meaningless. Within days of its introduction, there were thousands of brand new Twitter users claiming to be long-term Dems who'd switched allegiance to Trump and sporting the hashtag walkaway. Much the same with the Blexit movement, though there has been some growing support for Trump among Kanye West fans. If these folks want to support someone who loathes and despises them, let them go ahead and do so.

It is good to see people thinking about their political choices. Nothing is as black and white or simple as it seems so thinking is key.

@antonbunot What is it about Democratic/liberal support of decent health care for all, affordable housing, a living wage, equal treatment under the law, safe and effective public schools, the rights of women and LGBTQ individuals, and access to a college education that you think should be dropped? Republicans/conservatives these days oppose all of the above, yet you think it is the Democrats who need to change their tune?

@DWDavis well, they should because this president is making good things for the American people yet they oppose him. Obama has not done anything good for the USA.

I can think for myself do not need someone tell me how to think. Thanks for trying though. Anyone who needs this needs to look at themselves in the mirror. Do I really only follow what the herd does? I think @TheHorse said it the best. We were taught to be free thinkers in this part of the world. I know so scary.

Lots of Americans hate him because they are used to having WEAK presidents like Obama. Our prime minister in Canada may be a bit weak but at least he is the most good looking of all the world leaders. He made lots of ladies swooning when he visited the Philippines.hehehe
