I am glad I have Amazon money from SwagBucks, because I usually can find what I need on Amazon. Our friend @andriaperry had suggested I make baby blankets and sell them as a way to earn money. Nice idea to make and sell anything. I was doing my regular online stuff and a tutorial came up for a unique, round, baby blanket. I saved the tutorial, but it needed a special cutting guide. Of course, if I was more confident, I could have cut the template out of cardboard and saved money, but I wanted to be exact. I ordered the template. On Amazon, tonight. It also will have instructions to make Christmas Tree skirts. It is strange to me how I can talk about something with someone, and "poof" related things come to my attention. Tomorrow I am picking up a brand new outdoor television antenna that has never been used at all. For free. Not an hour before I had asked my son if he would install one if we got it. This man in another town was giving one away. We said we wanted it, and we will get it tomorrow.

I have all kinds of patterns and look forward to getting some sewing done. I like how I am beginning to line out my equipment.

@GardenGerty I have asked to my husband to remove all his magazines and papers from a desk in the basement, it's a perfect place where to sew.

@velvet53 I used to make a lot of my own clothes and such, and clothing for my daughter. I would stay up all night to create an outfit.

@GardenGerty You will. Once you get started you might not want to do anything else. Good luck to you.

I know you had mentioned your zazzle store has slowed down. I always think of your beautiful items when I think of customized creations. I know that there is a lot of joy in being creative.

@GardenGerty Thank you, Heather. Actually, all shops seem to slow down instead of increasing sales. They should increase due to Christmas season ahead of us but it is strange...

The reason you see things that you have been talking about is because the internet is recording everything we say, so they see something you are into they will show it to you in an add or something. Just like the phones listen to us when we talk.. but besides that it does sound like a good idea to sell something you are good at.

I expected that about the baby blanket, even though here on myLot is the only place it has been mentioned. I was not online or on a cell phone when I talked about the antenna with my son, but sometimes, when the time is right, just what I need seems to literally fall in my lap. Some would say it is God, some would say "the Universe" etc. I just know that finding a local, free, brand new outdoor antenna is a really good thing.

I know you can sew and that is why I recommended this, that is awesome about the tree skirt instructions too, that will go good right now. I plan to make baby quilts, one day, but I have to learn to use my new machine and I have not used one in over 20 years.

I have hardly used one in ages. The newest one I have I think I am threading wrong. The thread keeps breaking while I am trying to mend stuff. I was given the machine, downloaded a manual for it and I am going to have to go read it. I have an awesome antique machine that works better and I will use it a lot. I just have to get set up.
