Is it a snack or a leftover?

That´s a philosophical question like whether the flower we are looking at is a part of a plant or is it a weed. I just warmed the hard sides of the loaf of bread. I ate them and they tasted delicious with mashed avocados. Thanks be given that Leticia did not see it. She throws away a lot of things I eat. What do you do with your leftovers? Are they plants or are they weeds?

I use stale bread to make breadcrumbs, I never throw food, this is something I learnt from my parents since I was very young.

Bread crumbs are a source of inspiration as far as cooking goes.

@marguicha With stale bread I also make a bread pudding and a chocolate cake that is pretty good.

@marguicha My husband has no health problems and he is so skinny that I often prepare a dessert for him.

I love leftovers! Tasty home-made food without you having to cook again - what's not to like?

Plant for flowers are a plant unless they are coming from a weed. Leftovers are good and waste not want not. I like to finish food too.

Many times I prefer the way I change the leftovers to eat them than the first time I ate the dish.

@marguicha I do that too, then it doesn't seem like leftovers at all.

Its a plant. Its for presentation of the wood but it is not harmful to eat.
