GLOOMY November first

It has always been an observation that November 1st is gloomy day, that it is about to rain. Maybe because the skies shed tears for the departed people? I don’t know, but when the day is sunny and there are no clouds in the skies, I say it is pure luck to see the sun on the first day of November.
That is why the cemeteries here have moist or wet grounds. That is what we often say to our youngest brother--- ‘’expect gloom on your birthday’’.
Is it a sunny November 1st in your place?

our November here was gloomy and i imagine the public cemetery here is flocked with people visiting their dearly departed.

after our date yesterday, traffic was heavy along the roads going to the cemetery. i hope the traffic eased in the evening.

@ridingbet November 1st is All Saints and it was usually a sunny day, this year we are having rain since October 30th and it's still raining.

for us, we do not bring food when visiting our parents' tombs. we pray and have pictures taken.
