Early to bed for eight hours of sleep didn't work.

I often don't get to bed until one am or so, mostly because several days per week I don't get home from work until after 10:30pm. The days or nights I have off I still tend to stay up later than I want to
Yesterday I had my first appointment at the wound clinic in town and had to be there at eight am. Today I'm getting the muffler fixed on my car at 9:30 but it's in the next town over. Because I have a new treatment for my wound I've not done myself yet I planned on getting up at 7:45 am, so I was sleeping by around eleven pm last night.
My idea for more sleep backfired since I've been trying to go back to sleep since about five am. it's now 6:30 and I got up. Once I'm done here I will change the bandaging in the wound and then maybe I can get a bit more sleep for a little bit. If not I may do some cleaning and maybe catch a nap after my car is fixed but before heading to work.
I'm not putting this on my wound, so don't worry about that.

I went to bed early last night as well.....because the move was exhausting......we had and early wake up to get me to the airport on time.
Traffic was horrible.....my daughter was starting to stress....but she dropped me off almost exactly where I had to be....the security line was long.....but moved quickly.
Now I'm waiting for my plane to board....a few minute to Mylot while waiting.

I'm behind as I've no idea where your flying to. Making it to airport in plenty of time is always stressful even when there's plenty b of time planned out.

@Morleyhunt hopefully recovering from all the flying around and not from catching something on one of your trips?
Hopefully some guys helped with her money too? I could do a lot helping when younger. Right now I wouldn't be able to do much at all. I can lift a finger but not while walking,

@MarshaMusselman I went to Ontario on Tuesday to help my daughter move. Yesterday I was in Toronto, flying to Moncton, NB. Now I'm home recovering.

Because of my foot I try to get closer to eight when I can. I'm now going to the wounds clinic and starting today began short-term disability so I don't have to be concerned about putting my back or other body parts out from both walking right. I may be off until Feb although I certainly hope I get a scab way before then.
I will write about all it's this soon.
Also, I'm surprised you've not already written something for the new month.

@MarshaMusselman I have been over busy with stressful stuff, I had not enough peace of mind to write something.

@LadyDuck Understood. That can make us forget about everything else many times.

I'm sure I'm better now and since u wasn't tired throughout that day I realized I just have napped too often that evening and didn't needed the sleep after all.

I wasn't tired at all, so I guess the small naps beforehand must have done me good.

Yes, I found that out too. I put it on my cut thumb and out a bandaid over the top just two nights and the cut is almost gone. I did it several times with antibiotic ointment which helped, I'm sure, but didn't take care of it.

Possibly, or that I had over too many short naps prior to lights out. I wasn't overly tired yesterday which was a surprise so I'm sure I got the sleep I needed. I just don't like getting up before the sun unless I have to.

Nursing homes sometimes use that for bed sores. I have a hard time changing sleep patterns, although they do change themselves at time. I was up a lot last night, in spite of the fact I have been missing sleep. My plan is to get outside in the early morning to help reset my body clock.

I've had to change mine a lot through the years especially when I was working the night shift and cleaning windows in the daylight, but maybe add I get older I won't be able to fluctuate as much.
I did just remember that I took a few short Napa's last night while waiting for it to be later enough to sleep for good so maybe I got the extra sleep that a way. Although napping doesn't normally stop me from sleeping through the night later. Probably it was more knowing I had to figure out the new treatment myself for the first time.

@marshamusselman Sleep is indeed a peculiar experience and difficult to get right. I gave up a long time ago.

I used to be as good napper and could catch extra zzz's anytime needed but as I'm getting older not so much. I also seem more able to get by on less.
