Found in a book

I found this in a book that I bought recently at a charity second-hand book stall. It is a set of exam papers from 1978 and 1979, for A-level Mathematics, that would have been used as practice questions for candidates taking later exams - unlike actual exam papers, this booklet includes answers at the back! I did not do maths beyond O-level, which I took in 1967, so these questions do not mean all that much to me. You never know what you're going to find in old books - usually they are things that people have used as bookmarks and forgotten that they were there. I have come across interesting old letters and notes in the past, and one day I might find find a £10 banknote - one can always hope!

People use all sorts of things as bookmarks. Old exam papers can be very interesting.

I have studied that, and I have completely forgotten it. In real life, I have never used it. So out it has gone. I want to refresh my memory on electricity and learn something about plumbing.

Usually people keep their old books at store rooms. But going through it is really interesting. But question paper? Only for the interested students not for others.

Oh gosh they might need those papers one day. Yes once I bought some jeans off eBay some old ones and there was $20 in the pocket.
