It’s a very long time since I was here… how are all my old myLot friends and contacts? This morning it’s a lovely autumn morning here, damp but gradually clearing and the sun is coming out, with the odd gust of wind to pluck a few golden leaves off the trees. My Mother always used to say that if you could catch a falling leaf it meant one month of good luck for the next year. Of course we didn’t really believe that, but she and her siblings used to try and catch leaves when they were children, and she did it with me and now I do it with my girls. It’s just a little something fun to make you run and jump and laugh – and even that little bit of exercise and laughter gets you moving and lifts your spirits so maybe the luck comes in the form of good health if you do it enough? Hello, I am so glad to see you back. I have caught falling leaves even a few days ago, but I do not think they will bring me luck.

@Fleura I am so sorry, I hope it's not too serious, knees are hard to fix, I have fallen from the stairs three years ago and the knee hurt for several weeks.

Hello and lovely to 'see' you too! I hope all is well there. I have only caught one so far, I hurt my knee and ankle a few days ago falling into a pothole in the dark so I haven't been able to run about as much as I should, but I will try again in the next few days, we are having gusty winds and the leaves are lovely colours too.

the falling of the leaves finally ran out of gas. Mot of the leaves are bagged.My neighbor wants them for his compost pile. Very nice to hear from you and thanks for stopping by.
