Do you think that the desktop is still useful today?

Although the mobile phone has become much more popular and many people depend on it. However, the desktop is still important for me. It is easier to use the desktop to create the spreadsheet, photo design and so on. The smart phones are not that smart to handle these

Some people still use desktops. I don't have one anymore, when the last one broke down I bought a laptop instead. My phone is okay when I am away from home, but in many other cases I prefer my laptop.

@youless I think it is much easier to write on my laptop. I can write on the phone, but it is much faster to use my laptop.

I still have them at work and they are still very useful for me when I work there and do my paper works. But my need at home has already waned since the laptop and mobile phones has already overtaken them. I can do my internet activity on my phone and if I would need to do things on a much powerful platform laptop would be handy already.

Yes, desktop is still useful even though mobile devices are popular nowadays. We can’t work everything by just using our mobile phones.
