Two quails as a present.

I did tell you that when I went to San Fernando I had come back so full of presents that I had to leave some of them at my aunt´s house. But a present I did not leave. I discovered a couple I had not seen for 30 years. I was as moved as they were. They had tried to look at my in FB but I´m too dumb to use it much. So I told my cousin to help and suddenly I read a message that was over a year old with a phone number. After I stopped crying, I called. They live not so far from where my aunt lives and on the way to where we were going to the beach that Sunday. We had lunch together at a restaurant in a beach and Cristiana and Alonso invited us all for tea. There they poured over Juanita and myself all sorts of presents. Those were from the best walnuts from their trees to a wonderful champagne. To me, Cristina gave me 2 quails to cook when I wanted. Here we can buy quail´s eggs but we have to go to very special restaurants to eat birds like those.

I don't think I've ever eaten quail. My sister has a pair in the bottom of her bird-cage.

Wow! That is such an amazing reunion. This reminds of some business that thrived here of rearing quails and it went under as fast as it picked
