It looks like these beans have lots of health benefits and can prevent many health problems. I was happy to find this article, so it can help us all to feel better and younger..

I eat all kinds of beans and peas and they are an important food. They are best if one can eat them fresh but not all of them can be eaten that way as some can only be eaten when well-cooked.
I love fresh fava beans and always buy them when in season. In Italy, there were some neighbours that had huge fields of fava beans.

Yes, Fava beans seem to be very popular in Italy. But I think all beans are good..

@buenavida Here we may eat soy beans more often, such as the bean-curd, soy sauce, soy milk etc.

Why not taste them and see what you like. They are easier to digest if we take probiotic with them, like live yogurt or other fermented food.

I love eating salted Fava beans. Back in my homeland, this is a popular snack. There is a store just a stone's thrown away from our house that sells different kinds of beans and fried peanuts. And salted fava beans, fried in vegetable oil is one of their items.

I hope they use good oil when they fry, Coconut oil is one that can be heated without being destroyed,as far as I know..
