In the US, Its like an epidemic problem...Female teachers having sexual relations with their student. As in the number of scandals involving female teachers doing statutory rape with their students surpassed the male teachers. I think male teachers gets to jail faster and female students are more protected so these inappropriate relations happen more.
The Youtube link below is the story of Mary Kay LeTourneau. She was a daughter of a former Senator and Presidential candidate. She was a married woman with 4 kids... Mary Kay felt unhappy with her marriage and her dad having cancer so she ends up having Sexual relations with her 12 year old student Vili. When people found out about their affair, she got jailed. She got pregnant and gave birth to a little girl. When she took a bail, She was caught again doing the dirty with Villi again and she got pregnant again and gave birth to another daughter.
Mary Kay got imprisoned again and by the time she was released, the boy is 21 years old. Oh they got married so a crime with a happy ending.
What do you think of her excuse that she and the boy are in love and there is nothing wrong with their relationship?
She uses her dad's cancer and her unhappy marriage as an excuse why she have an affair with a child and said he is too mature for his age.
If you are the boy's parent, How would you feel if your 12 year old son got his 35 year old teacher pregnant?

Mary Kay Letourneau made international headlines when she seduced her student, Vili Fualaau. She was 34. He was 12. Even now, some two decades later, you can...

@CaptAlbertWhisker I wonder why they got separated. Well, actually, I don't want to know. I just saw a photo of the kids - they are gorgeous. I wonder what they think of their parents

They got separated and now they are back together going through therapy, so this marriage is a mess.

The boys parents weren't responsible parents in the first place. I'm guessing his dad's didn't even know and his mom was probably too busy with all the kids that have
At least the teacher did see jail time. I'm a bit surprised she was able to keep the children and that they weren't out to for adoption.
I've never heard the story before. Funny thing is one article said she got tired of him not manning you which is a bit funny since he'll always be 32 years her Junior.

She befriended her mom, so she can regularly visit him at home. Her mom thought she is just being a nice teacher lady who visits their house to tutor their son because she is very nice. She have no idea she is being a predator at that moment.

she claims she is not a pedo and that they just fall in love because she is struggling on her father dying and her abusive marriage.

@CaptAlbertWhisker maybe she isn't... because if she is, she could have victimized a lot of kids. maybe she has child issues... but then it became something like this

One of her kids are older than the boy, so imagine how messed up with that. Oh she lost her virginity to her brother. Someone wrote a song about their "love story"

@sofssu if we switched the genders, a male teacher will still be in jail right now or would have been killed.

@LadyDuck from what I remember a rumor about Ashton and Demi is that she cheated on him. Weird as it may sound but the cheating got revealed by a pet parrot.

@CaptAlbertWhisker Even Ashton Kutcher did not stay married with Demi Moore many years, he is 16 years younger.

I don't understand her. A 12-year-old boy is much too young for that kind of relationship. I don't understand why an adult would be interested in that kind of the relationship. It is fine to date younger men if they are both adults, but not a child.

@CaptAlbertWhisker In my country there have also been cases where young students fell in love with teachers and tried to start a relationship, but it is the teacher's responsibiliy that it doesn't get any further.

@Porcospino Yeah the teacher can simply say no because it is illegal.

The boy made the first move on her and he was flirting with her since he was 8. She uses the excuse of unhappy marriage why she did this.

This was a long time ago. He should have waited if he truly love this woman. And vice versa.

He did wait while she was in jail. They got married when she got released and his parents are not able to stop him because he is adult.

I remember this from when she was arrested and then got out being told to stay away from him only to be caught in her car with him. Then they separate and now on FB, a news station posted they are back together. He was a boy. I don't know how I would react if mine went for a teacher but I'm sure the law would be involved arresting her for starts.

Age should not be an issue. Everyone has right to do what they want

12 year old is illegal though. If you found out a 35 year old woman is seducing your 12 year old son
