Do you enjoy scavenger or treasure hunts?

Granted my hunt today wasn't necessarily for normal treasure, but it felt similar. I paid for membership to planet fitness last week since they've been running a special. I've not been for about a year because I didn't want to accidentally bump my wound. Now it's small enough that I've decided it's time to get back into exercising once more especially since I'm not currently working.
A friend wanted to start walking again and it's too cold to walk outside. We've walked in the mall before and did again just least week, but I'm hoping that I can go further if I hold on to the treadmills they have there. I remembered, sort of, that I might need a lock for the locker After talking to my daughter that also goes there she reminded be that I bought a lock for that purpose last year. I then remembered it but where could it be?
I searched through the bag I take to work and my purse and was clueless. I then looked on surfaces in my room and found the lock. Now I just needed the key. Great! Where could that be? I somewhat remembered seeing a lone key but had no idea where. After a bit of time I happened to look at my computer desk and saw a key peeking out, tried it and yes that was it.
Ready to go I picked up my friend and we both went to planet fitness. They needed her license which she didn't bring as I didn't know. We will have to try that again. So we ended up walking two completed rounds around the inside of the mall again. (The mall was one large black down the road). It was about 3,000 steps.

I remember a scavenger hunt an ex boyfriend and I went on one week-end. It was with a auto club he was invited into. Such fun.

It's been years since I actually went on one that I don't remember who put it or what we looked for. I may have been a young adult I really don't remember.
I have looked for things in my house before when others were going to neighbors looking. It seems like they're done more in colder months or used to be.

@celticeagle Yes, they can be fun. But, I'd prefer doing them in the summer months. Although, I don't hang out with anyone that does them anymore.

I have them together now and will have to consider keeping them that way somehow. Possibly I'll put them into a baggy and put them in a kitchen cupboard in case I forget where to look again.

She didn't forget it. I drove s the had no reason to being it. I went as a guest before but didn't remember needing to give my license unless that is a newer thing.

My dad was a hoarder and had kept news articles that dates back 1990s. But now were getting rid of it because of the termite invasion.

Ok, at first I thought you responded on the wrong discussion. Are you saying this to show looking for anything in your house is a scavenger hunt or that many came to your home knowing you're have what they needed?

That's better than nothing. It's also a good way to chat with friends, and relatives away from where everyone else may be listening.

Things do get complicated when you can't find or don't have what you need, but the mall is a good place to get those steps in.

That did work but I was hoping I could manage more steps on a treadmill as could hold on there and then my friend could increase her speed without me having to follow suit.

I walked a lot in Italy yesterday, we had a meeting in the center of Milan, so we parked the car in a garage in the outskirts of the city, walked a mile to catch the subway, another mile to reach the place of our meeting and the same back home. I think we made a little more than 5 miles yesterday that means 10,000 steps.

I'm not sure but I bet that was way more than10,000 steps. I used to do that many steps walking into work and to my station and babe a bi. Actually, I believe for times around our mall is one mile which would have been 6k steps with her stride.
Will I'm wrong someone that walls as lots average would be what you said. I didn't know I was walking dive miles daily when I used to do the 10k steps for work.
